Loco Mag is a lifestyle and culture magazine based in northwest Philadelphia. At Loco Mag, we aim to showcase the ideas, voices, and talents of college students in the Philadelphia region. We focus on culture and lifestyle relevant to college students, and emphasize this perspective in our tone and content.  

We never publish poetry or fictional submissions. However, we are also not strictly a news publication. We cover a broad range of subjects, including the arts, off-campus social events, entertainment, travel, and political commentary. But we are in the business of telling real, tangible stories, not just filling pages. Loco Mag is completely independent, and we pride ourselves on showcasing a writer’s honest, unfiltered perspective.

Our sections include Travel, Lifestyle, A/V Room (Audio/Photo/Video), Entertainment, Mood, and Features. Regular articles usually run upwards of 500 words. Features typically run around 1,500 words. Have more than that? Cool! If not, no worries. We’re an electronic publication so space is unlimited. We’ll accept anything from a 250-word photo spread to a 500-word interview to an hour-long podcast to a 2-minute video. Be creative, and tell your truth.

We accept all file formats: written, audio, video, photo, and otherwise. If submitting audio/visual content (photo or art series, video, podcast episode) please upload the individual audio/visual files in addition to a document with any text you wish to accompany your content.
